The world's best players from across the globe will congregate to the Bay Area to battle it out for the coveted title of world footbag net champions. Legends young and old will put their talent and reputation on the line in what is shaping up to be an amazing show. Will anyone be able to beat the Master Germans Florian Goetze and Patrick Schrickel? Will the unstoppable Emmanuel Bouchard meet his match? Will Maude Landreville from Montreal, Quebec, Canada be able to retain her crown? All this and more at the 31st annual IFPA World Footbag Championships. It's time to bring it.

It's showtime folks. The Bay Area is about to be served up a rare treat this summer. The greatest players of Footbag Freestyle will come from all over the world to show their skills in the ultimate test of champions. Vasek Klouda from Prague, Czech Republic will defend his title against the largest open field to date including Jim Penske from Boise, Idaho; David Clavens from Pennsylvania; and Milan Benda from the Czech Republic. Tina Aeberli from Switzerland will be attendance to bring footbag freestyle to a whole new level. Greatness will grace the Oakland Convention Center this August. You don't want to miss this one.
